Chiropractic Care

Our Unique Approach

Our office proudly features the Sigma™ Instrument Method as our top adjustment modality. The Sigma is a computerized analytical device that allows state-of-the-art care of the joints, muscles and soft tissues of the body. Treatment is delivered through precise low force, resonant percussive impulses delivered into the tissues by a comfortable treatment head.

Here are some of the many attributes of this system:

  • A cutting-edge neurofunctional approach
  • Decreases local muscle spasm
  • Effective for both spinal and extremity correction
  • Eliminates spinal segmental dysfunction and discomfort
  • Gentle and pain-free
  • Increases joint range of motion
  • No twisting or torquing of the spine is necessary
  • Reduces trigger points
  • Treatment success is consistent through a built-in feedback system

Our State-of-the-Art Rehabilitation System

We also feature the Active Therapeutic Movement (ATM) system to help strengthen the body’s core, decrease pain and increase range of motion following an injury. This method is equally as effective in the treatment of the low back or hip, as it is in knee or shoulder trauma.

The ATM concept revolves around three key elements: joint repositioning, external stabilization and the upright, weight-bearing positioning of the patient. When all three of these factors work together, we can help to transition almost any painful movement to become 100% pain-free. As the patient carries out simple isometric exercise in the new, comfortable position, the body and the brain now have the ability to reset old neurological pathways to new, empowering ones.

Chiropractic Care and Auto Accidents

Chiropractor Fort Wayne Chiropractic CareWe always like to point out to our patients the importance of being checked after an auto accident. Even a minor fender bender can produce spinal misalignment and soft tissue damage. The longer you wait, however, to be evaluated after an accident, the more hidden damage can accumulate. It can also take substantially longer to recover.

Some of the long-term effects of untreated whiplash are

  • Chronic pain patterns
  • Early onset arthritis with widespread inflammation
  • Joint immobility
  • Muscle imbalances
  • Posture problems
  • Psychological distress (anxiety or phobia)

Our advanced protocols are delivered with caring and compassion at our chiropractic care center. We strive every day to promote healing and put an end to suffering. Contact us today; we’re here to help!
